Lexie Gohlke graduated from Michigan State University in 2015 with a BS in Biology through Lyman Briggs College. As an undergraduate, she volunteered with the Michigan State University Sexual Assault Crisis Intervention program providing emotional support to victims, survivors, and family members. After graduation, she worked as a research assistant at Hutzel Women?s Hospital working in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit. She was on a study involving an investigational new drug on premature babies. During this time, she shadowed genetic counselors in the metro-Detroit and Lansing areas. In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with family and friends, reading, martial arts, and skiing.
