  • Undergraduate degree from Albion College (MI) in Biology and French
  • Master’s of Science from Villanova University (PA) in Biology
  • Currently a sixth year student in the MGG PhD program

As an undergrad I conducted research in environmental microbiology and subsequently chose to pursue a research career. Having an interest in genetics, I did my Master’s thesis research on the signaling pathways of fission yeast. The diverse research interests and emphasis on high-quality research in the CMMG drew me to choose the MBG PhD program. The advanced resources and supportive nature of the program will certainly provide me with a unique and successful graduate experience.
